Here are some quick plain answers about our martial arts gym in Saskatoon. From beginner paths and kids’ placements to pricing and support services.

Before your first Class / First Time Here

I’m new, where should I start?

Simply sign our membership agreement and show up 5 minutes before your class starts.

What should I bring to my first class?

Bring athletic clothing (T-Shirt and Shorts, no jeans, nothing too baggy), a water bottle. We recommend purchasing a mouth-guard.

Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn

Show up ready to put in the work, and have fun together as a team. Leave your ego at the door.

Pricing & Payment

How much does it cost?

Drops ins are $20 for all paid programs. Family Discounts are available. $15 per Parent/Guardian, and $10 per child. Adult monthly memberships are $150, kids and youth memberships are $145 per month.

Are there contracts or sign-up fees?

No long term contracts and no hidden fees. Simply give notice to pause or cancel.

Refund Policy

If you do not use your membership for 1 month it may be paused upon request and you will receive 1 month credit that can be used or transferred to another person.

Hygeine & Safety

  • Leave Footwear in the Hallway, wear sandals in the hallway to avoid tracking dirt on the mats.

  • Remove all jewelry before training.

  • Keep toenails and fingernails clean and clipped to avoid injuring your partner.

  • Shower regularly and maintain good hygiene.

  • Cover any cuts, scrapes, abrasions, and rashes.

  • Inform coaches of any rashes or contagious infections.

  • Stay home if sick or experiencing

  • Wear clean, appropriate-fitting clothing.

Support Services

What is 4Wolves?

4Wolves Kickboxing is a free 1 hour session led by Coach Billy Torrence, followed by a smudge and sharing circle. We welcome everyone Ages 12 and Up.

How does Road to Recovery work?

Adults may register online to receive a free consult, and await placement. Upon placement they will have 4 support meetings with an optional 1 month of MMA training.

Gloves Not Guns

Gloves Not Guns is a Free Training and Mentorship Program featured at Asylum through PIVOT Society. Ages 12-24 (with exceptions) Food provided!

Safety & Accessibility

Are classes safe?

Yes. You control the intensity and can opt out of anything that agitates a pre-existing injury.

Can anyone Join ASYLUM?

Yes. As long as you’re respectful, willing to learn, and ready to put in the work, you’re welcome at Asylum. Depending on your age, experience, or individual needs, we may recommend one-on-one coaching before joining a group class.

Do you have accessibility options?

We do not have wheel chair accessibility to get down the staircase. We do not have onsite showers.
