Coaches Adv. Striking & MMA Fundamentals on Tuesday and Leads Strength & Conditioning on Wednesday.

Nic brings a genuine passion for helping others, he believes Asylum belongs to everybody. He coaches with the belief that everyone deserves somewhere to belong, so no one falls through the cracks.

Eric Wilson

Lead Coach

Coaches Outlaw MMA Monday night at Asylum.

As a Pro MMA fighter with multiple blackbelts, he is one of the most highly respected in Canada. Eric is a UFC-Performance Institute Certified Strength and Conditioning Professional. He has also successfully completed Bioforce by Joel Jamieson. He is also the assistant Luta Livre Affiliate Representative for Western Canada. When Eric starts talking, he lights up the room.

Valentyn Miroshnychenko

Luta Livre Instructor

Coaches Youth MMA Luta Livre on Monday and Wednesday.

Valentyn brings big heart and an uncommon passion for martial arts. The students who learn from him progress quickly, and have seen competitive success

William Opikokew

Boxing Specialist

Coaches Striking Fundamentals and Adv. Boxing Technique on Thursday. As well as Boxing IQ & Youth MMA Striking Saturday.

William is a deep thinker who brings incredible value and talent to the gym with his vast knowledge of different boxing styles and cultures. He assists with GNG and other community programming.

Lee Hagel

BJJ & MMA Instructor

Kids MMA Fundamentals Coach.

Lee brings both a calm presence as well as a grounded authority to his classes.

Nash Diedrichs

Youth MMA Coach

Nash assists with Kids MMA Fundamentals & Coaches Youth MMA Striking on Fridays.

Nash is a professional bare knuckle boxer who has the heart and mind for mentorship. He believes Martial Arts can teach the kind of lessons that save lives.
